Hello, & thanks for stopping by! My name is charles michael, and i hvae been a professional makeup artist since 2006. having been a visual artist my entire life, i found my passion for makeup and transformative art while in college. once i saw the power, confidence, and joy makeup brings into peoples lives, i was hooked.
as a professional makeup artist, my makeup skills include working from tv/commercial/film, makeup education, body-painting/prosthetics/sfx, to event, editorial, beauty, and creative makeup. i have spent my entire career learning from other pros and exploring my insatiable curiosity. i have worked in many different roles for the following brands: mac, make up for ever, & pat mcgrath labs.
currently, i reside in my hometown, new orleans, la. my career brought me to nyc for 5 years, where i worked developing my skills and experience through brand work, fashion shows, pro-focused education, and eventing. I’ve returned home to share what i know, and to bring a luxury experience to all of my clients.
